"How is it none of my concern, Onarav? I sided with you and turned against Vorena. I had the same problems with him that you have now. I was able to make my peace. Why not make yours? It is my concern as much as yours."

Avalon's words reach Vorena, however, and the sword disappears. "Very well, brother. I'll speak rationally if the worthless excuse for a Gin will."

Onarav snarls at Vorena. "Says the race-tainter." The mace becomes a ring once more. "I shall agree to you terms, for the moment." Onarav sits down once more.

Vorena only looks at Avalon, a scowl painted on his face and his arms crossed.

Avalon sighs. "Why do you two hurt me so? Why do you two hurt each other so? Onarav, you mentioned Rain earlier. How is she doing? Also, have you gotten any word from Shiloko?"

"I just happened to find Rain on her travelling and had stayed with her, I haven't heard anything of Shiloko in ages. So unless someone's not telling me something, only my daughter is alive."

"I see..." He turns to Vorena. "There's something I forgot to mention earlier. Ayn mentioned a sister... I think her name was Bianca. I told her that's not possible, she was not of the bloodline. She threw a fit after that. Do you know anything about a Bianca?"

"A sister? Ayn was the only child my wife bore, and I sensed no aura of any 'sister' Ayn might of spoken of." He rubs his chin thoughtfully. "That can only mean one thing.. Rand must have cloned Ayn to see if he could recreate Ayn's abilities."

He nods to Onarav. "That's true. You missed the demon he sent earlier. Vorena sent him away licking his wounds." He turns back to Vorena. "A clone? Don't jump the gun here, you don't even know if they're twins."

Back in the library, Rose sends pleading looks towards Reeve every now and then. She couldn't understand why he had rebuked her so coldly. "Did I really...intrude? How could I have done that?" She sighs, lost in her troubled thoughts.

Vorena shakes his head. "Ayn is my daughter, I would have sensed a second aura if she had a twin. There's no other explanation, unless..." He pauses for a minute, then shakes out the thought of Yolanda being unfaithful to him. "No, I'm positive that this Bianca you speak of was a clone."

"Ok... Are we going to do anything about this Rand fella? Are we in a position to even do anything in the first place? We have to consider this, are we able to compete with these new age fighters? That demon he sent was easy, but he might have more."

Cool rain starts spraying into the library as a window opens. A dark figure slides onto the window sill and looks down to see a girl sitting in a chair close to him. In a deep voice the figure says..."Are you the one they call.... Rose?"

Rose leaps from her seat, twists around, and draws Fate. "Who...who are you?"

"You may call me Swordstalker." The figure leaps down to the ground and slowly stands, water still dripping from its horns and claws.

"Okay, Swordstalker...WHAT are you?" Rose backs up, gripping Fate tightly and bumping into a table.

"What? Never seen a gargoyle before? If you wish i will change my form if you please."The creature lowers and seems to shrink as his once gray skin turns to normal flesh. He stands once again looking like an average human, a red blade shimmers in the light.

"Uhh...okay..." She's completly freaked out, but gathers her wits about her and stares at the "man." "Why do you want to know who I am?"

"I have been following you Rose and you have something I want." Swordstalker grabs a chair and leans back in it, propping his boots up on the end-table near him.

Loren was only half-paying attention to Rose and this.. gargoyle? She has too many other things on her mind, too many things she needed to sort out.
______ Vorena rubs his chin again. "It has been years since I last saw Rand. When he implanted his Synthetic demon into Ayn he threatened to have it kill her should I try to interfere. Hence why Yolanda and I disappeared." _____ Meanwhile, Ayn was staring blankly at Sin when she suddenly blinks. "Let's go find out who the stranger was." She stands and stretches. |

"What of mine could you possibly want? I have nothing." Her tone is suspicious, and she stares at Swordstalker. Anything he wanted he wasn't going to get anyway, but curiousty killed the cat, not the demon-vampire.

"Look little girl, when i set out to do something i finish it. Im gonna own that blade soon, so either hand it over or prepare to face the shadows!" Swordstalker chuckles as he places his hand on his sheath.

"I've faced a lot worse then shadows. You're NOT getting my sword!" She takes a defensive stance, staring Swordstalker down.

Swordstalker takes his stance as he clicks his blade out of his sheath. Lowering his head he says... "I guarantee these are no shadows you've seen before."

"Very well then!" Swordstalker lunges forward with the Serpentblade out but is wary, not knowing his opponent, he does not want a major injury in the beginning of the duel.

Swordstalker gets hit in the head but is barely phased. He is basically testing out his opponent. He spins around and lashes out with SB.

Rose is caught by the sword as she spins away, grunting in pain. "You are wasting your time."

Having taken little interest in the castle's recent visitors, Kyushin remained seated on the floor in the Library, resting or meditating--whatever it was he did. Onarav was hardly a threat, and if the Abbis wished to have at each other, that was not his concern, even with Ayn's mental health considered. So there he stayed for most of the day.
This Swordstalker character, however, had no implied affiliations with him. Even if he had no business with Gaia, he was here and exerting violent force against one of his adopted "companions," and that just wouldn't do. He rises from his spot and approaches the gargoyle from behind as he battles Rose. At about fifteen feet he stops and leans on the end of a bookcase, absently watching the two fight. |

Rose slashes the sword horizonatly downwards, releasing a wave of dark energy that slices through the air at incrediable speeds towards Swordstalker.
